2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it to us:
- Contact form: your name, email address, and message. These are submitted directly to us through our website hosting provider (Netlify), which stores form submissions on our behalf; we do not share this data with any other third party.
- Phone: if you contact us by phone, we receive whatever information you choose to share during that conversation.
- Bookings: if you book through Booking.com, your booking data is collected and processed by Booking.com under its own privacy policy — we do not receive your payment details, and only see the booking information Booking.com shares with accommodation partners.
3. Cookies & Third-Party Embeds
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The only third-party content is:
- Google Maps: embedded maps on the Contact and Explore pages are not loaded automatically. They only load, and only set Google's cookies, after you click "Load Map" or accept cookies in the banner.
- Booking.com links: these take you to an external website with its own privacy policy; we don't control what it collects.
Fonts used on this site are hosted locally — no data is sent to Google Fonts servers.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process contact-form data based on your consent, given by submitting the form. Google Maps only loads after your explicit consent (via the cookie banner or the "Load Map" button).
